Welcome to Lady Crescent! By booking services or purchasing products through our website (ladycrescent.com), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read carefully before booking or purchasing.

1. General Terms

 

1.1. Service Descriptions

​

All services, including tarot readings and spiritual guidance, are for entertainment and guidance purposes and do not replace professional advice such as legal, medical, or psychiatric consultation.

 

1.2. Eligibility

​

You must be 18 years or older to book services. Unless given permission by a parent or guardian and they are present during the service.

 

1.3. Code of Conduct

​

Respectful behaviour is expected during sessions. Any harassment or misconduct will result in immediate termination without a refund.

2. Booking and Payment

 

2.1. Event Deposit Policy

​

A 40% non-refundable deposit is required to secure event bookings. The remaining balance must be paid 14 days prior to the event. Cancellations made with at least 14 days’ notice may be entitled to a full refund of the remaining balance, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

 

2.2. Service & Product Payments

All general services and product payments must be made in full and no later than 2 business days before the scheduled booking.

2.3. Refunds and Cancellations

 

• Tarot Readings and General Services: Payments are non-refundable. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for rescheduling.

• Events: Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made after the 14-day period may receive a 40% refund of the remaining balance, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

 

2.4. Rescheduling

Rescheduling is allowed with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.

3. Travel Fees and Event Surcharges

 

3.1. Travel Fees

Travel fees are additional and calculated based on distance from Frankton. Please refer to the Travel Fee Chart for detailed pricing. These fees and service costs are subject to change based on fuel prices and other factors.

 

3.2. Event Surcharges

 

• 10% surcharge for bookings around the eight Sabbats.

• 15% surcharge for major Sabbats.

• 5% surcharge for public holidays or after-hours events.

• Discounts: 10% off for small groups of 7 or fewer.

4. Product Purchases

 

By purchasing any products through ladycrescent.com, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. All sales are final unless otherwise stated.

5. Cancellations by Lady Crescent

 

Lady Crescent reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, clients will receive a full refund, including deposits, or may reschedule without additional cost.

6. Limitation of Liability

 

6.1. All services are for entertainment and guidance purposes only and do not replace professional therapeutic, psychiatric, financial, legal or medical services.

 

6.2. Lady Crescent is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of services or products.

7. Privacy Policy

 

Your privacy is important. All information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We do not share personal information with third parties.

8. Intellectual Property

 

All content on ladycrescent.com is the intellectual property of Lady Crescent. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

9. Force Majeure

 

Lady Crescent is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to uncontrollable events (e.g., traffic, illness, government ordered lockdowns, natural disasters, strikes).

10. Client Responsibilities

 

Clients must respect appointment times and policies. Late arrivals or misconduct may result in session termination without refund.

11. Governing Law

 

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of [insert jurisdiction]. Any disputes will be resolved in [insert location].

12. Changes to Terms & Conditions

 

Lady Crescent reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.

Site User Safety

  • What are your Business Hours?
    Sundays: Closed (Available upon request; after-hour fees apply for events/services over $70) Mondays: 12pm - 5pm Tuesdays: 11am - 5pm Wednesdays: 12pm - 5pm 6pm - 9pm (for events/payments over $50) Thursdays: 11am - 5pm 6pm - 9pm (for events/payments over $50) Fridays: 11am - 5pm 6pm - 9pm (for events/payments over $50) Saturdays: Closed (Available upon request; after-hour fees apply for events/services over $70) Holidays may affect these hours. Check the event surcharge schedule for more information. NZT timezone. I reserve the right to accept or deny booking requests.
  • Where are you physically located?
    I am currently based in Queenstown, New Zealand, and while I do not take appointments in my own home, I offer a range of options for in-person sessions. For home visits, I travel to the client’s location as specified in the booking. I also conduct sessions at trusted cafes, or at venues chosen by the client for events or special bookings. Additionally, depending on time and date, and if your home is not suitable, I may be able to find a private space for you with at least 48 hours notice. This must be requested, and will be an additional fee of $50. I reserve the right to accept or decline the request. If you’re not based in Queenstown, I also offer online services, including my magical tarot readings, which can be done remotely via audio or video call on Zoom. Many clients have shared that their online readings were just as personal, accurate, and magical as an in-person session. Don’t let distance or borders stop you from finding clarity! 💫
  • What currency do you use?
    All prices listed on the website are currently acting as NZD currency, but I am able to recieve various currencies through my secure online payment provider (Stripe), as they are able to convert multiple currencies into nzd. Please note that you will be sent an invoice if the amount I receive after the payment goes through Stripe's Currency Conversion is incorrect. Remember to use Google's Currency Converter to send through the correct payment required. Thank you.
  • What is included in my payment?
    Tax is included in all payments, as well as 2.99%+ 0.3 for payments made through the website which goes to my transaction provider (Stripe). The default minimum travel fee of $10 is also included in your total payment (only for all in-person readings). You will be notified if the minimum travel fee is insufficient for your location when reconfirming your booking. Please refer to "How are travel fees calculated?".
  • How shall I pay for my in person reading?
    Payments are processed online. All bookings and services must be paid in full, in advance, before receiving any products or services. Once you book, you will receive an invoice detailing payments, travel fees, any additional services, and the total cost. Payment must be made within 48 hours of receiving the invoice, and no payment means no confirmed booking. Please note: Tax is included in service pricing but not in product pricing. Travel fees must be paid to cover the chosen location.
  • How are travel fees calculated for in-person readings?
    Travel Fees Chart: Travel fees for any and all in-person readings, including cafes and home visits, start at $10 for the Frankton area (Lakeside), which is already included in our base service fees of my Tarot Services only. This fee covers the average time, distance for a round trip of your location. For areas outside of Frankton, the travel fee is calculated based on these factors and is transparently listed for various locations. Please note, if free parking is not available or provided, an additional $5 per hour will be added to cover parking fees. For everyone’s convenience, prices are rounded up to the nearest whole dollar to keep things simple and straightforward. Please email me for a travel fees quote in regards to any locations not listed above.
  • Is Tarot Evil?
    No, Tarot is not evil. It’s a tool for insight and guidance, often misunderstood as something sinister. Tarot cards don’t possess any inherent power—good or evil. Instead, they help people connect with their intuition and provide clarity on life’s challenges. They do not summon demons or cast spells; they simply offer a means for reflection and understanding, much like meditation. Tarot, like any tool, reflects the intent of the person using it. It’s about insight, not harm.
  • What is Tarot and How Does it Work?
    The Tarot is a deck of 78 cards, each with unique symbolism and meaning. The 22 Major Arcana cards represent significant life lessons and spiritual growth, often reflecting experiences that are inevitable. The 56 Minor Arcana cards depict everyday challenges and decisions, showing aspects of life that can be influenced or changed. When you consult the Tarot, it reveals lessons that need to be learned, acting as a mirror to your life. Tarot is not just about predicting the future—it helps shape it by guiding self-development, decision-making, and goal-setting. Each of the 78 Tarot cards holds a unique lesson connected to our life experiences. When we consult the Tarot, it reflects the specific lessons we need to learn to grow and move forward. It’s like holding up a mirror to your own life, with the cards laid out in front of you (literally), revealing the paths and challenges that need your attention. ​
  • What is a White Witch?
    A White Witch practices magic with pure, benevolent intentions and is often referred to as a lightworker. They follow the “harm none” rule, believing that the energy they send out returns threefold, whether good or bad. White Witches walk the right-hand path, using their natural gifts to help others and bless those in need. They honour and work closely with their ancestors, calling on their guidance and wisdom. Additionally, they worship Mother Earth, align with the seasons and elements, and seek direction from angels and divine forces. Their practices often include: • Walking the right-hand path: Using natural-born abilities to help others. • Blessing others: Especially those less fortunate or those who show kindness. • Honouring the earth and ancestors: Worshipping Mother Earth, her creations, and working with ancestral spirits for guidance. • Working with the seasons and elements: Aligning with nature’s cycles. • Seeking guidance from angels and divine forces: Establishing a deep spiritual connection. • Gratitude: Showing appreciation to deities, ancestors, the Divine, and the Universe. White Witches are bound by the Witch’s Rite, which states that using magic for harm or manipulation strips them of their natural gifts. This contrasts with Dark Witches or practitioners of black magic, who follow the left-hand path, often using magic for personal gain or manipulation. Black magic is typically associated with harmful or self-serving intentions, while White Witches focus solely on benevolence and positive actions. To be recognized as a true White Witch, one often needs to be acknowledged by a respected practitioner, a coven, or a High Elder. The title is not self-given, as it represents a deep commitment to selfless service, traditional magik, and following the principles of light magic, often under the guidance of ancestors and divine forces.
  • How do the Aura Readings work?
    The Aura Readings are available online only. For any and all written reports, Aura Art, and items from the Shop - please allow 3 - 5 business days for it's arrival.
  • What is an Aurora reading?
    Aurora is the combination of both Yara and Aurelia Services, It will come with the Digital Version of the Aura Art, in jpeg. format for best printing outcomes and in png. format for best post/upload outcomes.
  • What is a Yara reading?
    Yara is the Aura Image and written report. This includes upto 5 pgs explaining what colours your aura shows, and what it may say about who you are, your personality or even the people and situations you attract in your life. It also includes a basic edited image of yours showing the colours I see in your aura so that you may visualise it for yourself. This report will be sent to you via email in PDF Format.
  • What is an Aurelia reading?
    Aurelia is an Aura Digital Art Collage Piece made to show you what I see and feel from your aura through imagery. You may get this sent to you digitally or in a physical print format depending on which service you choose.
  • What is an Aura Reading?
    An aura reading interprets the energy field surrounding your body, often seen as different colours. Each colour represents various aspects of your emotional, mental, and spiritual state. During the session, the practitioner will help identify and interpret these energies, offering insights into your overall well-being, potential blockages, and strengths. This type of reading provides a deeper understanding of your inner self and the energetic forces influencing your life. It’s a unique way to gain clarity and personal insight. An aura reading is more than just a reflection of your personality—it involves reading your energy field, which is shaped by deeper emotional, mental, and spiritual factors. Unlike personality traits, which can be more easily adjusted or displayed, your aura reflects the energetic state of your being and is harder to change. Shifting your aura often requires significant emotional or spiritual growth, healing, or energy work. It’s not a simple snapshot of who you are; it’s a window into your current energetic and emotional balance.
  • Partner or Affiliate Application for the Crescent Circle:
    Lady Crescent invites you to apply as a partner or affiliate and become part of our Crescent Circle. We’re looking for individuals or businesses that align with our values, offering unique, high-quality services or products. As part of the Crescent Circle, you’ll benefit from shared promotion opportunities, cross-collaboration, and special event features. To apply, submit your proposal detailing what you offer, how it complements Lady Crescent, and how we can work together to enhance our circles. Each application is reviewed carefully to ensure alignment with our vision.
  • Third-Party and Affiliate Policy:
    Third-party products and services available through Lady Crescent are subject to their own terms and conditions. It is the customer’s responsibility to review and understand these independently. Lady Crescent operates as a sole trader and is not liable for the actions, products, or services of third parties or affiliates. Any breach of Lady Crescent’s Privacy, Safety, or Site User Policies by third parties or affiliates will result in the termination of agreements, and a minimum penalty of $1,000 may apply, depending on the severity of the violation.
